By Special Request

Someone asked me to blog so here it goes...

I was thinking the other day about what some of my favorite things in the world are. I've narrowed down a few and these are in no particular order, nor are they my absolute favorites, but merely things I really like!

FRIENDS - If you ask me, this is one of the best shows to ever grace television with it's presence. The perfect combination of comedy, drama, and real-life issues which I personally find ways to apply in everyday life. I don't know if there's any situation in everyday conversation that I can't find some sort of FRIENDS reference for.

Fantasy Sports - What better way to let your average person feel like they actually could manage a sports team than through the internet and everyday sports fanhood. Possibly the most perfect form of competition there is!

Christmas Morning - I there ever was one specific day that could bring people together, Christmas is the epitome of that. Certain things about my family's Christmas morning were very significant to my recollection of the holiday. For instance, waking up to the smell of Pop-Tarts, the fact that to this day presents still come addressed to all of us from "Santa," and always spending it with family. Few things besides my family and our traditions are so important to me.

Til next time folks!

My Nutshell

This confusing whirlwind of life that I live in has it's ups and downs. It's the way we handle it that is the true judge of character. Here are some things that I have learned recently.

If we take everything in stride it might not be so bad

Finding out who the people you can really turn to is one of the more challenging things I've ever come across

I've never appreciated family more than I have i these past few years

Contrary to popular belief, the grass isn't always greener

In the end, the main thing I have to rely on is that few things in life are certain but everything happens for a reason. Keeping my head up proves to be a daily challenge but God will never gve us anything that we can't handle.
